How To Play
Every aspect of the game is managed by a Parent /Adult (Teacher) who can participate as well.
The game starts with the player to the TEACHER’S left.
- The child picks a card and hands it to the Teacher.
- The Teacher will first READ the “GIGGLE MOMENT” and ask the child to perform the task.
Note: Prior to answering a more serious question, the “Giggle Moment” is a simple task that makes everyone laugh and relax.
- After completion of the task, the Teacher will then READ the flip side of the card…
“AUNT JEAN’S QUESTION” and ask the child to respond accordingly.
- The Teacher will then critique the child’s response and then ask other players to respond as well. The Teacher will critique each response and enhance the learning process with positive feedback and alternative responses.
The learning process is interactive and dynamic in teaching your family’s acceptable Values and Behavior.
Depending on the number of players, the Teacher can determine a comfortable game time and frequency.
Playing the game once per week offers consistency and supports the learning process.
Special Notes and Exceptions
Every family is unique and has its own preferences and belief systems.
The game rules can be modified as needed at the Teachers discretion.
Here are a few examples:
When picking a card the Teacher may choose to change or modify the GIGGLE MOMENT or AUNT JEAN’S QUESTION to best accommodate their family needs. They may also choose another card.
When desired, the Teacher may also create their own GIGGLE MOMENT or AUNT JEAN’S QUESTION to best represent their family’s needs and belief systems.
The game purposely DOES NOT HAVE WINNERS or LOSERS.
The Teacher can administer a REWARDS system of their own as they determine.
When a Teacher feels that a child has mastered the Values & Behavior set forth in the game they can PRINT OUT a
“Personalized JEANIEOLOGY™ DIPLOMA” available at JeanieOlogy.com™.
The Diploma may also be used as part of a REWARD SYSTEM.
