Watch a video.

Need help understanding a difficult subject?

Technology can provide an explanation almost instantly.

But some of life’s most important lessons still require something technology cannot replace:

another human being.

A child can search for the definition of honesty.

But understanding honesty may come from watching Dad tell the truth when doing so is uncomfortable.

A child can read about compassion.

But understanding compassion may come from accompanying Grandma when she helps a neighbor.

A child can learn the meaning of responsibility.

But understanding responsibility may come from Grandpa describing a mistake he made—and how he corrected it.

Character grows through relationships, examples, choices, conversations, and practice. That’s why parents and grandparents remain irreplaceable teachers.
